Recently Strictley’s Head Judge Shirley Ballas’ non-surgical transformation hit The Daily Mail headlines. Alice Hart Davis wrote about the treatments Shirley received with the outstanding Dr Judy Todd to create her “£5k facelift with no surgery”.

In these photos you can also see that her pigmentation has vanished thanks to prescribed products, and she is glowing. Thanks to a 3 month medical skin transformation kit which works to deeply penetrating the dermal skin layers. This reverses sun damage and ageing to reveal healthier, youthful-looking skin.

What kit are you talking about?

Obagi Nu-Derm Transformation System

Loved by Shirley, Judy Murray, Drew Barrymore, Alicia Keys and many worldwide, these products transform the skin by increasing skin cell turnover and exfoliating dull, dead skin cells. This happens in 5 phases, each lasting 1 to several weeks, depending on your skin type.

By the end of the 1st phase, more even-toned, rejuvenated skin will be revealed as older cells are diminished. You will see results within 2 to 3 months! Amazing!

What does the Obagi Nu-Derm Transformation System kit include?

There are 2 different kits depending on your skin type:

  • Normal to dry
  • Normal to oily

Each kit contains a:

  • Foaming Gel

Cleanse

Use Obagi Nu-Derm Gentle Cleanser (for dry skin) or Obagi Nu-Derm Foaming Gel (for oily skin). Massage onto wet skin and let it sit for a minute to open up your pores, readying the skin for further product. Rinse the cleanser off with lukewarm water and pat dry with a clean towel.

Tone

Apply toner to cleansed skin using a cotton ball. Your skin will absorb this product so there’s no need to rinse it off.

Clear

Apply Obagi Nu-Derm Clear onto your face, extending up the ears and your hairline.

Exfoliate

Massage Exfoderm (for dry skin) or Exfoderm Forte (for oily skin) into the skin. Be gentle with your hand motions.

Blender

Apply Obagi Nu-Derm Blender. This is the product that really focuses on pigmentation. It contains Hydroquinone 4% and Arbutin 7%. Gold standard ingredients when combined with Tretinoin to control the melanin in the dermis and clarify and brighten the skin.

Moisturise

Enjoy using Obagi Nu-Derm Hydrate.

Protect

Liberally apply Obagi Nu-Derm Sun Shield Matte Broad Spectrum SPF 50 to skin in the morning, underneath your makeup.

What is Tretinoin?

Tretinoin 0.025% is a prescription medication in the retinoid class used to treat multiple skin conditions (acne vulgaris, hyperpigmentation/discoloration, sun damage, and premature aging). It may only be used with a prescription. We will be able to discuss this in further details in a consultation.

Important information

AHA can increase skin’s sensitivity to the sun. For this reason, it’s important to practice proper suncare techniques while using the Obagi Nu-Derm system.

Within the first six weeks of treatment, your skin may feel sensitive, red or dry. This is completely normal. However, if itchiness and redness become excessive, please get back in touch with us and we can recommend next steps.
